My top three reads

1 Nov

I’m planning to cover 2023’s reading in my usual “year in review” post, but this is slightly different. Book recommendation site Shepherd asked me for my top three reads of the last 12 months, October to September.

I trawled through my Goodreads records, naturally, but although there were a few five-star reads, I surprised myself by choosing a four-star book among my top three because it had stuck in my head and felt real. You know what I mean – as if the characters continue to go about their lives even when you’re not reading about them.

Which one? Well, read the post to find out. It will take you about five minutes. Or read the lists of all 884 people who took part. That will take longer.

Happy reading!
