Just a quick one to say that my unpublished novel The Sarcophagus Scroll has been long-listed for the Novel London Literary Competition – whoohoo!
The Sarcophagus Scroll is the first part of the mystery-thriller trilogy that I’m still working on. I’m about halfway through book three at the moment.
I don’t actually get anything for being long-listed, other than deep personal satisfaction and some ammunition against the inner voice that occasionally tells me that everything I write is terrible, but if I were to win one of the prizes, there would be actual money involved, so keep your fingers crossed for me!
Update – I did not make it onto the shortlist, but at least longlisted is something!
